Roadhouse Joe at Blues Fest

We played a Blues Fest with several other bands last Sunday. My Mission 5F2H amp can be seen behind the singer perched on a milk crate. The sound guy mic'ed it up with a Sennheiser mic; it sounded really good. This was a very fun gig.

Looks like it was a fun time, Rick. I really like what you do here at this blog. I've gotten a lot of good info and advise on harp amplification, and make a point of checking in regularly to see what you're up to! Keep it up!

Big Ernie-

Thanks for the props about the blog.

The gig at the Blues Fest was great! We were proud of our set. It was a good crowd.

Jason Ricci will be on the same stage this Thursday. I'll be there for that...

A wireless?

Dude.

Dude, it's digital, not analog like most crappy wireless rigs. Zero compression or noise. It sounds like a cable. Try it.

Damn you're tall, rick! You've gotta be at least 5 feet 15 or so...that' or surrounded by Liliputuians!

Looks like a blast!

Todd-

Yep, I'm 6 feet 7 inches tall, 235 lbs. The singer in these pictures is maybe 5'7", so I look kinda big.

This Blues Fest was a full-on blast! The Toad Tavern is a good venue: I saw Jason Ricci there last week, Charlie Musselwhite and Kim Wilson last year.
