Little Walter playing through a Masco amp

Little Walter often played through whatever amp was available. It is known that he played through Masco amps from time to time. The rig in this picture had two 1x12 cabinets driven by a cathode biased 2x6L6 amp. When Bruce Collins and I developed the Mission Chicago 32-20 amp we used my vintage Masco ME-18 amp as a starting point. The Mission amp owes much of its distinctive character and tone to the 50s Masco design. Megatone Amps has also produced a amp on the Masco theme. It's a good place to start.
