Here's a short clip of Al Chesis on harp, Jeremy Vasquez on guitar, Kyle Borthwick on drums, John Blake on bass. Al is using his vintage Astatic JT-30 microphone w/ceramic element plugged straight into the amp; no delay or other pedals. Nice tone!

Rick, when you posted this at the MBH forum awhile back a moron named Harpaholic said Chesis had thin tone. What an idiot. Chesis is playing an *F HARP* and it sounds fat. Hey Harpaholic: why don't you toot along and record it and post your squeaky crap to YT. Let's see who gets thin tone.
Rick's right. There's a lot of good people on MBH. Some of them are admittedly lunatics, just like on any other place on the web. The trick is to try and not get sucked in by the trolls, when they come out to play.

Bunch of fucktards at MBH. Adam should clean house. It's a waste of time.
Jess, nah, its just a few lunatics who seem to run the asylum sometimes. Mostly good folks at MBH.
Anon, Al Chesis always gets great tone. That's why he's an official Hohner endorsee. BTW, his regular gig rig is a Mission Harp Amps 3x10.

This video sounds good. I've known Al Chesis for years and he has big tone. He plays in Big Bill Morganfields band, Muddy Waters son.
'Nuff said.
