High-gain guitar amps sound like ass with harp.Rick Davishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10785663666440700258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1501574484591494853.post-3775819544153939582009-01-08T09:44:00.000-08:002009-01-08T09:44:00.000-08:00Back when I first started playing harp I got the b...Back when I first started playing harp I got the bright idea to buy a Marshall for amplification. It actually didn't sound too bad with green bullet except that it would feedback like a banshee at any volume louder than a gerbil watching an aquarium. It also tuned in a number of radio stations quite well. Oh well, live and learn.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1501574484591494853.post-57364450848869947472008-12-28T04:20:00.000-08:002008-12-28T04:20:00.000-08:00Joe, cool pic! Yikes!

Maybe you or I could tame it and get it to sound reasonable for harp, but it makes me tired just thinking about it.Rick Davishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10785663666440700258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1501574484591494853.post-10826962308225483422008-12-27T23:29:00.000-08:002008-12-27T23:29:00.000-08:00I don't know. Based on the sound sample you provided, if you could turn it down a bit or isolate it so you don't have feedback, I'll bet you could get a cool Big Walter tone ala "An Offer You Can't Refuse" out of it.Joe's Blues Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00878016113359073133noreply@blogger.com
