This video is an excellent demonstration of the tonal differences between two of our blue harp amps: The Jake Friel model and the JD Taylor model. Here, Jake and JD play their amps, cutting heads, swapping riffs. Each of these amps is under $300.

Lots of caveats: Different players, mics, and settings, but the difference in the tonal philosophy of the amps comes through loud and clear. Jake amp is slightly sharper and crunchier; JD amp is slightly warmer and smoother. Both amps rocked the juke joint in Memphis.
